The U.S. Army's Natick Contracting Division plans to award a sole source purchase order to Lamination Technologies, located in Lancaster, United Kingdom. This procurement is authorized under FAR 6.302-1 and involves acquiring two long sleeve shirts made from a unique LT Blend fabric along with five yards of the same fiber fabric. Lamination Technologies is the sole producer of this patented LT Fiber, which is critical to the Government's objective of testing and evaluating the material’s flame resistance and physical properties. The acquisition is directly managed by the Soldier System Center in Natick, Massachusetts. The contract is posted under solicitation number USA-SNOTE-041102-001, associated with NAICS code 315211, covering apparel manufacturing.
