Solicitation # SPE7M1-27-U-0884
Solicitation SPE7M1-27-U-0884 is a total small business set-aside issued by the DLA Weapons Support Maritime Supply Chain for the procurement of electrical plug connectors, NSN 5935011254897. This is a commercial off-the-shelf item being acquired through a unilateral Indefinite Delivery Contract with a maximum value of 350,000.00 dollars and an estimated annual quantity of 509 units. Delivery is required within 56 days after order, with shipping terms set as FOB Origin and inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. Because existing controlling drawings and source data are insufficient, all potential sources must develop and submit a comprehensive data package. This package must define all mechanical, physical, material, environmental, and electrical requirements, along with a proposed qualification and acceptance test plan based on industry or government standards. Failure to provide this data package will result in a technical nonresponsive determination. Quality assurance will be managed through zero-based sampling plans such as MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331. Packaging must comply with RP001 and MIL-STD-129, with non-hazardous materials following ASTM D3951 and hazardous materials adhering to TQ requirement IP025. The contract prohibits the use of Class I ozone-depleting substances in the design or manufacturing process. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for invoicing and compliance with various FAR and DFARS clauses regarding trafficking in persons, sustainable products, and the safeguarding of covered defense information.
