Brand Name Software Subscription renewal for Space Recovery System (SRS) software maintenance and technical support. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Simplified Acquisition Procedures are being utilized for this requirement. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Brand Name Justification, set-aside for small businesses. The solicitation number is FY17-0049 and this number shall be referenced on all Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-88. All future information about this acquisition including solicitation amendments will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 511210, Software Publishers and the applicable Clauses and Provisions are attached. Listed below is the name of the software that is to be renewed: Space Recovery System Software Licenses. This will be used for FEMA and USDA workload processing on the 2827-405 CPU. Period of performance for the software renewal is from date of award for a period of five years.
