The scope of work for this project shall include but is not limited to the following: • Roadside Mowing: 2026 - 2028 Seasons (3 x 3 months each) • Other work as indicated in the unit price schedule and special provisions Unless otherwise specified, the Contractor shall supply all materials necessary to complete the Work. A complete job is called for. Therefore, any labour, material, equipment, tool or incidental item not specifically mentioned, but necessary for completeness will be considered incidental to the Work and no separate or additional payment will be made. This Work consists of mowing of the local road right of ways (not including Highways and secondary Highways), 15 feet (4.5 meters) off the road shoulder to the fence line on all Brazeau County roads. The Work area limits shall extend out from the existing roadway to the right of way limits, from fence line to fence line, high bush line to high bush line, or as determined by the County’s representative. For the purposes of this bid, the estimated quantities showing in the unit price schedule are presented in hours. The hourly estimated quantity is calculated based on completing 30 kilometers per day, averaging 10 hours per day, being a total of 2072 kilometers of roadside mowing (includes both sides of the road). The quantities showing in the Unit Price Schedule are an estimate only. Actual hours required to complete the scope of work outlined in this tender document could differ from what is presented.
