Intent to award sole source: Mentor Worldwide, LLC. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Naval Medical Center San Diego anticipates entering into sole source procurement negotiations under Statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, with: Mentor Worldwide, LLC. 201 Mentor Dr. Santa Barbara, CA. 93111-3337 The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by supplies available from one source. The objective of this sole source award is to procure the following breast implants and sizers: 334-1052 (QTY 2) - 260 cc 10.5 cm 9.9 cm cm 5.3 cm 334-1102 (QTY 2) - 300 cc 11 cm 10.3 cm cm 5.6 cm RSZ-1052 (QTY 2) - sizers RSZ-1102 (QTY 2) - sizers The patient needs these specific breast implants and sizers because they already have the Mentor Worldwide expanders in place.
