Intent to award sole source: Mentor Worldwide, LLC. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Naval Medical Center San Diego anticipates entering into sole source procurement negotiations under Statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) and FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one responsible source, with: Mentor Worldwide, LLC. 201 Mentor Dr. Santa Barbara, CA. 93111-3337 The above authority is cited and justification made based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by supplies available from one source. The objective of this sole source award is to procure the following breast tissue expanders: TEXP100RH (QTY 2) - 300 CC high Profile, Artoura Tissue Expanders TEXP120RH (QTY 2) - 375 CC high Profile, Artoura Tissue Expanders The patient needs these specific breast tissue expanders because the breast implants that will be used are Mentor Worldwide. The breast implants must fit with exactly with the expanders. The NAICS code for this requirement is 339113; the large business size standard is 500 employees.
