Bridgeport Rehab

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMSMOO-56206-R6, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Caltrans District 9. Activities for Location 1 are limited to (1) the removal of willows, (2) the installation of a temporary diversion culvert, sandbag berm, pump system with fish screens, and outflow settling basin for dewatering the work area, (3) the installation of a concrete spillway along the full width of the channel bed, from approximately 20 feet upstream of the bridge deck, under the bridge deck, and to approximately 10 feet downstream of the bridge deck, (4) the installation of un-grouted rock slope protection on bank slopes and in the channel bed beyond the edge of the concrete spillway, up to 100 feet upstream of the bridge deck, and 25 feet downstream of the bridge deck, and (5) removal of the temporary culvert and diversion system after completion of construction activities. Activities for Location 2 are limited to the in-kind replacement of one 24-inch corrugated steel pipe culvert under US-395, replacement of a flared end section at the culvert inlet, and installation of a new flared end section at the culvert outlet. Activities for Location 3 are limited to the in-kind replacement of an approximately 75- foot-long 24-inch-diameter culvert under US-395, removal of an existing inlet headwall, installation of an approximately 10-foot-long culvert extension at the culvert inlet, installation of a flared end section at the culvert inlet, grading near the culvert inlet, and installation of a flared end section at the culvert outlet
