This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and no other written solicitation will not be issued. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS), intent to solicit a brand name requirement for BriefCam software. The Internal Revenue Service, Criminal Investigation utilizes MileStone video archiving software throughout our field offices. BriefCam software is the only product that is fully compatible with the MileStone software currently in use and that will create summary of all moving events in a video and play them back as a synopsis superimposed over the static background image. The period of performance for this software license is one year. The authority used for this brand name requirement is FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) (Only One Responsible Source; or brand name specification). Quotes will be evaluated on a lowest price technically acceptable basis.
