Brigham Road Water and Sewer Replacements

The Orange Water and Sewer Authority is soliciting bids for a Single Prime Unit Price General Construction Contract for the Brigham Road Water and Sewer Replacements project in North Carolina. The scope of work involves replacing approximately 560 linear feet of 8-inch diameter AC water mains with a combination of 370 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron and 150 linear feet of 2-inch PVC water main. Additionally, the project requires the replacement of 1,480 linear feet of sanitary sewer mains, utilizing 325 linear feet of 16-inch ductile iron and 1,170 linear feet of 16-inch PVC. A bid deposit or bond equal to 5% of the bid amount is required, and the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds. The project timeline mandates substantial completion within 180 consecutive calendar days and final completion within 210 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
