This requirement is for the department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
TITLE: Brush Cleaning Services, Mackenzie River, NWT
Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements (CLCA):

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
The Canadian Coast Guard – Arctic Region has a requirement for up to (3) Contractors to provide brush cleaning services to various Fixed Aids to Navigation Sites on the Mackenzie River.
MANDATORY TECHNICAL CRITERIA
The offer must meet the mandatory technical criteria specified below. The Offeror must provide the necessary documentation to support compliance with this requirement.
No. Mandatory
M1 The Offeror must demonstrate that they are registered with Workers Safety and Compensation Commission of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Proof of Registration must be provided with the Bidder’s technical proposal.
M2 The Offeror must demonstrate that they have a valid Business License Number to operate within the NWT and Nunavut. The Bidder must provide proof of such registration with its technical proposal.
M3 The Offeror must demonstrate that it has a Contractor’s Safety Plan by providing a copy of the Safety Plan with their technical bid.
TASKS:
The work involves the supplying of all labor, equipment, materials and tools necessary to perform the brush clearing work and the removal of all debris and wood from site.
The Contractor must supply all labor, equipment, materials and tools to perform the brush clearing work. Brush clearing work includes:
Mobilization to the Site(s)
Removal of brush
Stockpiling all felled timber at the limits of the work
Demobilization
CALL-UP PROCEDURES – RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL
The call-up procedures require that when a requirement is identified, the DFO identified user will contact the highest-ranked Offeror to determine if the requirement can be satisfied by that Offeror. If the highest-ranked Offeror is able to meet the requirement, a call-up is made against its standing offer. If that Offeror is unable to meet the requirement, the identified user will contact the next ranked Offeror.

STANDING OFFER PERIOD
Date of award of the standing offers to May 31, 2026
TRAVEL AND LIVING EXPENSES
Canada will not pay any travel or living expenses associated with performing the Work.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
There is no security requirement for these standing offers.
