The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District is issuing a total small business set-aside solicitation for the repair of a concrete inlet weir at Buffumville Dam Lake, located in Charlton, Massachusetts. The project is planned to be issued around September 2017. The construction will extend over a six-month period occurring in the spring of 2018. The location of work to be performed under this contract shall be at Buffumville Dam Lake in Charlton, Massachusetts. This project includes the concrete repair to the weir box slab and walls and the installation of the sacrificial splash pad to reduce future deterioration. The lower portion of the emergency gate slots will be sand blasted and repainted and an existing ladder will be removed and replaced. Please note this solicitation is set aside for certified small businesses.
