The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Presolicitation Notice for Dike B Generator Installation, Mansfield Hollow Dam, Mansfield Center, CT.
QUESTIONS REGARDING THE PROCUREMENT WILL NOT BE ANSWERED DURING THE PRESOLICITATION PHASE. SUBMIT QUESTIONS TO THE CONTRACT SPECIALIST AFTER THE SOLICITATION AND ASSOCIATED DOCUMENTS HAVE BEEN POSTED.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: The Contractor shall furnish all necessary materials, equipment, and labor required to construct and commission a new power system for the Dike B Operator unit. The scope of work involves comprehensive site preparation to support the construction of a reinforced concrete generator pad and the installation of secure perimeter fencing. The Contractor is responsible for the procurement and installation of a standalone, propane-powered generator and a corresponding propane fuel storage tank. Following the physical installation, the Contractor shall execute all final electrical connections and integration into the existing sluice gate operator unit and control panel. All work shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and municipal laws and codes, and shall be completed in accordance with the Statement of Work.

The solicitation requirements and contract documents, to include instructions for submission, and the response date will be available on or about October 1, 2026. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted. The solicitation will only be available online; in order to download the solicitation offerors must access the Contract Opportunities website (www.SAM.gov).
