C-5 Core Mission Computer/Weather Radar (CMC/WxR) Production Program

This notification represents a Draft Solicitation for the C-5 Core Mission Computer / Weather Color Radar kit assembly and installation requirements. Please review the below information for all details of this Draft Solicitation. Part 1: General Instructions This Draft Solicitation requests or contains the following: a) The Government is seeking feedback from potential sources possessing the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for the assembly, and installation of kits for the C-5 Core Mission Computer/ Weather Radar program (CMC/WxR). b) Responses to this Draft Solicitation notice are NOT considered offers and WILL NOT be accepted by the Government to form any binding contract. c) Contractors/Institutions responding to this Draft Solicitation are placed on notice that participation in this Draft Solicitation feedback request DOES NOT ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. d) The Government WILL NOT reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this Draft Solicitation feedback. e) Attached are preliminary documents describing the C-5 CMC/WxR program requirements. f) Both large and small businesses are encouraged to participate in this feedback request. g) All responses to this draft solicitation are required to be made in writing (please, NO facsimiles). Written responses should be sent via e-mail and must be received by the Air Force no later than 11:59 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on 30 January 2017. NOTE: E-mail submittals with file sizes greater than 10Mbs must be broken down into several smaller submittals. Part 2: Requirements Attachments 2.1 Draft Technical Data Package (TDP) Bidders Library At this present time the Government is providing a preliminary Technical Data Package of what is necessary to create the kits that are being built for this acquisition. This information is contained in a source sensitive "Bidders Library" link. Only one representative from each prospective company may obtain the information. Click the "Bidders Library" link and send a request along with a signed and completed Non-Disclosure Agreement to Michelle Pickel and Kari Wedemeyer. 2.2 Draft Sections L & M Request review and comment on the attached Section L and Section M documents.
