The Air Force has a requirement for a depot-level re-manufacturing effort for the C-5 Trunnion Bearing. This item is a large, plain self-aligning, spherical bearing. It is the main pivot bearing used during the retraction and extension of the C-5 MLG. The anticipated re-manufacturing service will provide serviceable assets to meet yearly demand for Air Force field level and C-5 Programmed Depot Maintenance (PDM). 



This re-manufacturing effort will utilize a Requirements Type Contract. Contract period of performance will be five (5) years. It will consist of a one (1) year basic period and four (4) one (1) year ordering periods. To be eligible for award, offerors must be on the Government's pre-approved qualified source list.. The USAF anticipates the acquisition will be Full and Open Competition from Qualified Sources with the lowest price. The Best Estimated Quantities (BEQ) for each ordering period are listed below.
