Solicitation # FA8538260019
The Air Force is soliciting proposals for a depot-level remanufacturing effort for the C-5 Main Landing Gear (MLG) Trunnion Bearing Assembly (NSN 3120-00-766-2056UC, Part No. 4F23832-103A). This large, plain self-aligning spherical bearing is critical for the retraction and extension of the C-5 MLG. This is a Firm-Fixed Price Requirements contract with a five-year period of performance, consisting of a one-year basic period and four one-year ordering periods. The Best Estimated Quantities are 64 units per year.
