*SELF FUNDED THROUGH TF-1* PRESSURE WASH, SCRAPE, SEAL AND PAINT EXTERIOR WALLS OF HOPPER AND TAYLOR HALL The project request is for the exterior of both Hopper and Taylor Hall. Request to pressure wash all exterior walls approximately 112,000 sq. ft. of exterior wall and windows from the ground to roof above the 2nd deck. There are a couple spots on the lower exterior where paint is bubbling/falling off. Request that be scraped/cleaned up before repainting. This was originally submitted with the filling of all penetrations and removing and sealing all abandoned in place steam hangers and it was suggested we submit for the envelope be done next FY so we are submitting this TF-1 for that work to be completed. Design funding was given to NAVFAC July 2023 for the removal of the abandoned in place steam hangers, sealing of all anchoring penetrations and penetrations 2"+ on the perimeter of the building. CONSTRAINTS If any cleaning solution is needed/used for pressure washing exterior, approved environmentally friendly product only. All paint/debris scraped or washed off building envelope be policed up and removed from site daily. Accident prevention plans detailing items such as fall protection plan, MEWPs, and all other relevant plans.
