The plans and specifications have prepared in accordance with the Department of Defense Education Association (DoDEA) 21st Century Educational Concepts, DoDEA Facility Education Specifications, local school district program requirements, the Hanscom Air Force Base design guide, the USACE design guide, and integration of the geographic conditions and site constraints. The design shall also include a comprehensive interior design package. The effort will include design review conferences at 35%, 65%, final, and design complete stages, as well as presentations to the DoDEA Design Center and DoDEA Leadership at specified design intervals. Participation in the construction phase services will also enable the DOR to identify and capture lessons learned to be incorporated back into the programming and standard design specifications being developed by the DoDEA Design Center staff.
