It is the intent of the NYS Thruway Authority to enter into an agreement with Structural Technologies LLC for initial preparatory work on selected anchor pipes of the Main Spans of the Governor Mario M Cuomo Bridge (GMMCB) to support the installation of supplemental load paths to address identified defects and assure the durability and longevity of selected stay cable anchorages. To purchase specially manufactured bushing, ring nuts and other necessary parts for a separate contractor (Phase 2) to install during the Supplemental Load Path process; and to provide oversight during Phase 2.
