Call 003 DD00541

The North Carolina Department of Transportation has issued solicitation DD00541 for milling and resurfacing work on US-258 and two sections of secondary routes located in Edgecombe County. This project is governed by the 2024 Standard Specifications and will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Bids must be submitted electronically via Bid Express by 2:00 PM on September 22, 2026, with the official bid opening taking place at the Department of Transportation Main Conference Room in Wilson, North Carolina. To be eligible, prime contractors must be prequalified as a Bidder or PO Prime Contractor prior to submission, and subcontractors must be prequalified before starting work. Additionally, contractors are required to sign up for the Interested Parties List at least one business day before the letting. Bidders are responsible for monitoring the NCDOT website for all addendums, as failure to include them will result in the rejection of the bid.
