This contract, issued by the Florida Department of Transportation under solicitation E3Z82, involves the removal, installation, and repair of single and multi-post signs on State Road 8 (Interstate 10) within Jackson and Washington Counties. The scope of work includes providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to replace missing or damaged hardware and straighten sign panels and posts. The project is structured as a work document driven contract, meaning specific sites are not identified upfront; instead, the Engineer will issue individual work documents detailing the location, description, and timeframe for each task. The contract has a budgetary estimate of 150,000 dollars, though the Department does not guarantee minimum or maximum quantities. Payment will be based on actual quantities completed rather than the estimated bid amounts. Key timelines include a 10-day execution period and a 15-day flexible start time. Because the advertised estimate is 150,000 dollars or less, a proposal guaranty is not required for this indefinite quantity contract.
