The Contract will be awarded at the budget estimate amount. This Contract includes an option for two (2) renewals of up to one (1) year each. Intent: The work under this Contract consists of asphalt roadway repair, including milling, asphalt resurfacing, and pavement markings on various Department-maintained roadways in Brevard, Orange, Osceola, and Volusia Counties. Work to be assigned via Work Documents on an as-needed basis. Experience: Asphalt Paving: For this Contract the Contractor is required to have at least three (3) years of experience in the performance of asphalt paving projects, or the Project Superintendent must have at least three (3) years of like experience as a Superintendent. A Contractor that presently has a certificate of prequalification with the Department in "Hot Plant Mix Bituminous Course" will suffice to meet the above requirements. Note: The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Departments estimated quantities and the Contractors bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount.
