AI Contract Overview
Lourdes Academy District is seeking proposals for synchronous internet access and data transmission services for three entities, including an elementary, middle, and high school. The district currently utilizes 1 Gbps of synchronous bandwidth and prefers proposals for equal or greater speeds. Bids must include the cost for one usable static public IPv4 address and cover all necessary installation, configuration, and activation. Service start and termination dates must align with E-rate funding years, and multi-year agreements will be considered. The selection process will primarily prioritize the most cost-effective proposal, though the district may also evaluate manufacturer capabilities and the overall fit of the service provider. Vendors are required to sign and submit the Proposal Overview document and include the manufacturer in their price proposal line items. Robotic or spam responses will be disqualified. Interested providers should contact the technical lead for specific state and local procurement regulations to ensure full compliance during the negotiation process.

-Important Reminders to Service Providers/Vendors: -1. Read the Proposal Overview (file name: Proposal Overview 2BSIGNED Not an RFP) downloadable from the 470 application RFPS. Note: remember to add the manufacturer to the line item in the price proposal, either in a separate column, or within the item description, if relevant.- -2. Once downloaded sign the Proposal Overview and name the file Proposal Overview - Service Provider (Actual Service Provider Name Inserted)- -3. Be sure to include this Proposal Overview file as an attachment to your submitted proposal to the district.- -4. Reminder: The 470 application provides the District's best estimate of the number of items we are seeking in the "Quantity" field in order to indicate to potential service providers the size and scope of our project in the 470. Service providers are free to propose a higher or lower number in their proposals based on their assessment of our needs, if the proposals are clearly responding to our needs as described in the FCC Form 470. Cat1 requests are a bit more restrictive, but can provide a range of defined bandwidths.- -5. The District will select the most cost-effective proposal. The price of the eligible products and services must be the primary factor in the evaluation, but does not have to be the sole factor. The District will also consider additional factors such as the capabilities of manufacturer products/services proposed. The most effective fit between the service provider and the District, from the District's perspective, will be considered. The service provider's actions to construct a proper proposal per the District's expectations will also be evaluated. The District may consider other factors at their discretion. The District values valid clinical communication that does not provide an unfair advantage over any other participating service providers. For emphasis again: Price will be the highest weighted factor in the evaluation of proposals.-
State/local procurement requirements: The district has policy and administrative regulations regarding purchasing requirements. Please contact the Technical Contact to acquire detailed rules and information that may be relevant to the negotiation processes.
