Full Description
The applicant is seeking bids and proposals for internet access under a multi-year contract arrangement as follows: - Baseline speed of 1-gigabit symmetrical service - up to 2-gigabits symmetrical service - in whatever megabit increments are available, over a multi-year period (1,2,3,4, or 5 years) within a contract that allows for upgrades in-place via a service substitution.
- The contract must state the Monthly Recurring Charges (MRC) pricing and any Non-Recurring Charges. The MRC must be locked-in across the term of the contract, by proposed speed available, again, between the baseline of 1-gigabit up to 2-gigabits.
- In other words, all bids must include contract documentation for acceptance, and the contract must include a speed/bandwidth range in accordance with a baseline and a maximum being requested, in whatever increments are available from the bidder, up to the maximum requested, and upgradeable in-place within the term of the agreement.
- All solutions should include installation and all configuration costs (if needed), a method to report outages, and receive basic technical support without additional service fees, and a service level agreement.
- Please note that although fiber is the preferred solution, we are willing to consider solutions based on alternative technologies, as long as the solution allows for scalability and reliability equivalent to the preferred solution.
- Bids must include all eligible and any ineligible NRC (Non-Recurring Costs) and MRC (Monthly Recurring Costs) costs separately, so applicant can evaluate all bids properly and fairly. Do not forget to include any applicable taxes and fees.
- The Applicant prefers Service Provider Invoicing (SPI) and will score bids in accordance with the bidders agreement to abide by this preference.
- Send all bids and proposals and any questions to the following email address: erate.bids@taoscharterschool.org. There will be no conference calls or telephone calls accepted.
- All questions and bids mut be sent electronically to the aforementioned email address.
- All bids and proposals are expected on or before the Allowable Contract Date (ACD) cited herein.
- Bidder must identify all special or construction costs.
- All submitted bids for network services will be assumed to be available as of July 1st of the funding year requested.
