The applicant, CannaKilt, LLC, occupies an existing building with a total area of 59,850 square feet situated on a 1.38-acre site. The current operations within these facilities comprise a comprehensive adult-use cannabis establishment, which includes a 26,720 square-foot adult use large indoor cultivation area (Unit 16) and a 3,250-square-foot adult use cannabis Nursery facility (Unit 15). These facilities will be utilized for the cultivation, harvesting, drying, packaging, storage, of adult use cannabis. No new construction will take place. The project site is located in the City of Adelanto Light Manufacturing (LM) Zone. 39 greenhouse structures are proposed on the western portion of the property, arranged in a single column with six clusters of six greenhouses, and a cluster of three greenhouses at the southern limits. The facility is designed to contain two gated entrances and would be secured 24 hours a day. Street access would be from Bartlett Avenue and Muskrat Avenue. The projects address is 9841 Bartlett Ave., ADELANTO, CA 92301 and the corresponding Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) 0459-421-46.
