Capitol Visitors Center Skylight Pump Repair Project Short Description. Repair four (4) existing Aurora pump model 413BF - 10X12X12B feature pumps and two (2) Aurora pumps model 413BF - 8x8x11B feature pumps. Background. The Capitol Visitors Center (CVC) was built and completed in December of 2008 with six (6) decorative fountains - Two Olmsted Fountains located on the CVC plaza deck, Two Skylight Fountains located on the CVC's Plaza deck and two Reflecting Pool Fountains located in the CVC in Emancipation Hall. Since 2008 the existing four (4) main circulation feature pumps on the Skylight fountains and the existing two (2) main circulation feature pumps on the Reflecting pool have worked and performed without an issues, however recent maintenance activities and the need to protect the inner workings of the pumps with a chlorine / chemical resistant construction seals and internal components have developed a need for all six (6) pumps to be rebuilt and ran through a functional performance test to ensure they still meet manufactures specifications.
