THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or a request for proposal and no contract will be awarded from this notice. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM OF 314110 WITH A SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD OF 500 EMPLOYEES. This posting is for market research purposes only. Large businesses need not respond. The Department of Commerce is conducting market research to determine if there are any HUBZone Small Businesses (HUBZone) that have the current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to perform the work described herein. No Solicitation is available at this time; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. ALL RESPONSES WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION STRATEGY FOR THE FUTURE ACQUISITION. The Department of Commerce is seeking a contractor to furnish all carpet, padding, supervision, labor, parts, tools, materials, and equipment associated with small and large carpet installations. The Contractor will also provide services related to the repairs and maintenance of existing carpet and carpet accessories for the provision of carpet and installation projects in the Herbert C. Hoover Building, Washington DC. The contractor will be required to furnish payment and performance bonds on projects over $30,000.00 (FAR 28.102-1). The intended term of the contract is one-year base with four 1-year options and will not exceed $600,000.00. The Government intends to award one contract for this solicitation. The Government also intends to set aside the procurement to a HUBZone Small Business only. (concerns whose number of employees does not exceed 500 under NAICS 314110). The Government will not pay for any information received from this Sources Sought Notice. To determine the feasibility of the set- aside, ALL INTERESTED HUBZone SMALL BUSINESS FIRMS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT QUALIFICATIONS SHOWING EVIDENCE OF THEIR CAPABILITY TO PERFORM SUCCESSFULLY ON THIS PROSPECTIVE CONTRACT AND SHOW THEIR ABILITY TO MEET ALL THE ABOVE MENTIONED REQUIREMENTS.
