The Bridgeton Board of Education is seeking a qualified firm to provide substitute support staff across various roles including secretaries, custodians, cafeteria workers, bus drivers, and secretaries on an as-needed basis for the 2024-2025 school year. The selected vendor must collaborate with the district’s Human Resource Manager to determine specific staffing requirements and demonstrate the capability to track attendance district-wide using software that integrates seamlessly with the existing Frontline Absentee Management system. The district retains the right to seek alternative staffing sources if the vendor cannot fulfill requests and may hire staff directly after 60 days without penalty. The contract will include all costs related to overhead, paid time off, and compliance with legal requirements such as the Affordable Care Act, with the vendor bearing full responsibility for associated fees. The contract size ranges from $500,000 to $1.5 million, and responses are due by May 30, 2024. The district emphasizes flexibility in staffing and reserves the right to award multiple contracts for different staff categories, ensuring the scope of work is clearly defined and deviations are documented separately.
