CCC Camarillo Center: Pre-Enrollment Physicals

The California Conservation Corps is soliciting bids for comprehensive pre-enrollment physical examinations for Corpsmember Trainees at the Camarillo Center in Ventura County, California. The contractor is responsible for providing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials to conduct on-site medical evaluations for both CCC Fire Crew and CCC Standard Corpsmember positions, adhering strictly to the Participant Position Analysis and the CCC Health Questionnaire (CCC126) completed by each applicant. Physicals must be performed by licensed physicians, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants and must meet state licensing standards from the California Medical Board, Osteopathic Medical Board, and Board of Registered Nurses, as well as Cal/OSHA regulations and Penal Code Section 171b, which prohibits weapons on-site. Evaluations must assess vision (20/XX corrected or uncorrected), hearing (ability to hear ordinary conversation at 15 feet), vital signs, and neurological and physical condition to determine fitness for essential duties. Completed medical documentation, including forms CCC126-A and CCC126-B, must be submitted to the Central CCC Health and Safety Unit in Sacramento for final acceptance. The contract has an estimated value of $45,000, allocated equally across fiscal years FY26/27, FY27/28, and FY28/29, with a term extending through June 30, 2029. Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable basis, with responsiveness and responsibility as threshold requirements before cost is considered. Bids must include mandatory attachments such as a Bidder Certification Sheet, Payee Data Record, Proof of Insurance, Contractor’s Certification Clause, Bidder Declaration, Cost Worksheet, and optional DVBE declarations. The contract prohibits any alternate language, and non-compliance with submission requirements, including incomplete attachments or failure to use the specified email submission protocol, will result in rejection.
