Solicitation SPE7L7-26-Q-2505 is a firm fixed price request for quotation issued by the Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime for the procurement of one sealed maintenance free gel lead acid battery cell, NSN 6135-01-469-7574. The requirement specifies a Type I item with a non-extendable shelf life of 12 months. Delivery is required within 60 days after order, with the destination being the USS Winston S Churchill DDG 81. Inspection and acceptance are both designated at the point of origin, with DCMA inspection limited to kind, count, and condition. The contract mandates strict adherence to several military standards, including MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-130 for marking, and RP001 for palletization. Because the item is classified as hazardous material, the contractor must comply with IP025 and FED-STD-313, providing a Material Safety Data Sheet and certifying the materials on a HAZDEC form. Quality assurance will be governed by MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, requiring zero non-conformances for acceptance.
