CensiTrac Sterile Processing Services Instrument Tracking Systems (ITS)

Contract 36C10B26D0007 is a sole-source, Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract awarded to Censis Technologies, Inc. by the Department of Veterans Affairs Technology Acquisition Center. The contract utilizes a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) structure to provide the purchase, installation, and sustainment of CensiTrac Sterile Processing Services Instrument Tracking Systems (ITS) across 186 Veterans Health Administration (VHA) medical centers. This system is critical for the end-to-end tracking of reusable medical equipment through decontamination, sterilization, and surgical use, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. The acquisition is justified under FAR 6.302-1 and VA Deviation 6.103-1, as CensiTrac is the only solution currently interfaced with the Federal Electronic Health Records (FEHR) modernization and compatible with the existing RTLS Intelligent InSites platform. The scope of work includes software licenses, hardware, on-site and remote training, and disaster recovery capabilities. The contract is structured with a one-year base period and two additional 12-month option periods, with one optional task.
