This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. RFQ-BPD-08-0030 is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses that are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. This order is being set-aside for Small Business qualified companies. The NAICS is 423210. The small business size standard is 100 EMPLOYEES. STATEMENT OF NEED: The Department of the Treasury, Bureau Of The Public Debt, has a requirement for CenterCore manufactured furniture parts ONLY. The CenterCore Brand Name hardware parts must be used to properly assemble available inventory of CenterCore workstations. (See Attachment for complete list). Offers are due by July 9, 2008 @ 2:00 P.M. ET Interested offerors may register at http://www.fedbizopps.gov to receive notification when the solicitation and any amendments are issued and available for downloading.
