The Department of Justice, through its Procurement Services Staff on behalf of the Human Resources Staff, plans to issue a sole source purchase order to Centricity for the production of award devices for the Annual Attorney General's Award Ceremony. This contract will be awarded on a noncompetitive basis under FAR 13.106 (1) (b)(1) because Centricity uniquely owns the proprietary designs, dies, and molds required to manufacture these specific awards.
