The scope of work includes the control of various pests such as rodents, roaches, ants, and spiders, requiring treatments to extend at least six feet from exterior walls and the provision of eight weighted outdoor bait traps per location. The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is soliciting proposals under solicitation 802-27-76631 to establish blanket contracts for aquatic herbicide application services to control nuisance vegetation on water bodies throughout Texas. The scope of work includes three primary application methods: spray-boats, drone sUAS, and ATV-based services. Contractors must adhere to strict safety and operational standards, including weekly equipment calibration, the use of factory-sealed aquatic-labeled herbicides, and GIS integration for drone services. Payment is typically issued within 30 days of invoice receipt via state warrants or local payment systems. Proposals must be submitted by November 17, 2026, and must include a comprehensive set of exhibits covering company profiles, technical proposals, and spill contingency plans.
