The United States Coast Guard Deputy Commandant for Systems (DCS) is issuing this combined synopsis/solicitation on behalf of the Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) to award a firm-fixed-price contract for a replacement ballast tank motor-operated valve, as detailed in the attached Statement of Work.


This requirement is a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 332911, with a corresponding small business size standard of 1,250 employees. The applicable Product Service Code is 4810. The contractor will be required to provide a replacement 4-inch, 3-way, 2-port, 3-position Motor Operated Ball Valve, identified as known part number DPN-L1L-A156117 or an authorized equal. This valve supports critical ballast tank operations aboard the USCGC Healy (WAGB 20). Delivery is required within 17 weeks after receipt of order on an F.O.B. Destination basis to Seattle, Washington.


The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible offeror whose technically acceptable quotation represents the lowest price.
