The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - New England District is issuing a Solicitation Notice for Chemical Vegetation Control Services, Birch Hill Dam, Royalston, MA.
THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Provide all materials, labor, and equipment for performing all operations necessary to complete the following work:
a. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to apply a foliar chemical spray treatment on invasive non-native vegetation in the main entrance/Duck Pond Area along Birch Hill Dam Road (approximately 2.4 acres).
b. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to apply a foliar chemical spray treatment on invasive non-native vegetation on the upstream side of the Dam (approximately 23 acres).
c. Provide all labor, materials, and equipment to apply a foliar chemical spray treatment on all vegetation growing on the dam (approximately 8 acres).
d. Apply a foliar chemical spray treatment to control invasive species in the following areas of concern (approximately 8.7 acres):
i. River Road and Swamp Road Roadsides (area within 25ft of road shoulder) and the area between Beaver Pond and Swamp Road starting at gate R04 and ending at gates R06 and R08.
ii. Birch Hill Dam Road Roadsides (area within 25 ft of the road shoulder).
e. All work shall be completed in accordance with the following Performance Work Statement.
