Family Intervention Services (FIS) are targeted supports designed to strengthen family functioning and promote child safety and well-being for families involved with Children and Family Services (CFS). These services are goal-oriented, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive, focusing on reducing risk factors and enhancing protective factors. The Province may extend the Contract under the same terms and conditions, for one or more terms which, when taken together, do not exceed a total of 24 months to perform the Services.
