The successful proponent will establish and operate a high-quality childcare program that supports affordable, accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive early learning services for families within the District of Cochrane. The selected service provider will be expected to:Create and operate licensed childcare spaces in accordance with Ontario's Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA);Participate in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care (CWELCC) program;Provide inclusive and accessible childcare services that support Anglophone, Francophone, Indigenous, and diverse communities;Collaborate with CDSB to support children with special needs and developmental delays;Maintain eligibility for CDSB Child Care Fee Subsidy participation;Develop and implement staffing, recruitment, operational, and service delivery plans; andMaintain compliance with all applicable municipal, provincial, and federal legislation, regulations, and licensing requirements.
