Chillers 7 is an absorption chiller serving the NCAH campus and has been in operation since the initial installation in 2006. The high temperature generator section tubes and the absorber heat exchanger tubes in the Building 154 7 Trane Absorber Chiller are beginning to fail which will prevent the chiller from operating. This is designed with in-house engineering effort and the cost is to contract out the tube replacement which is critical to the integrity and life span of the absorber chiller.
