Chinook Power Station is a natural gas power station located approximately 20 kms northwest of Swift Current. SaskPower is intending to construct a 7200 square foot heated storage building on the site to store spare parts and equipment used in maintaining the Power Station. Also included in the project will be some civil works to create a paved driving surface to the new building as well as a small outdoor laydown area. SaskPower is seeking proposals from General Contractors to construct the heated storage building and complete the related site works.
