CHIP, OXYGEN

The contract is for one unit of CHIP OXYGEN, a medical diagnostic device containing ten capillaries pre-filled with a reagent system designed to measure oxygen levels in the range of 1.0 to 25.0 volume percent, enabling ten separate tests. The item is designated by NSN 6550-01-530-8046 and is governed by solicitation SPE2DS-26-T-041W, with a required delivery within 20 days of award. Strict shelf-life requirements mandate a minimum of 24 months from manufacture to expiration, with no extensions permitted, and no more than three months may have elapsed between the date of manufacture and delivery to the government. Packaging must comply with Commercial packaging standards and the Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which replaces MIL-STD-129, and all labels must clearly indicate the date of manufacture, expiration date, and contract or lot number in accordance with MMS1C. The item is classified as a Type I (Code M) medical supply with non-extendable shelf life, and all packaging, labeling, and handling must meet DLA’s procurement and packaging requirements. Technical and quality specifications referenced under R and I numbers are governed by the DLA Master List in effect on the solicitation or award date. Government identification must be removed from rejected supplies, and the product is subject to Covered Defense Information protocols. All units must be sealed in protective containers and shipped in commercial exterior packaging to ensure safe delivery at the lowest freight rate to Little Rock AFB, 72099-5300.
