Maintenance from Cisco, the original manufacturer, allows NCEP to protect and extend the life of their investment, and guaurantee quality and ensure that all parts are original. Cisco or Cisco resellers are the only known sources to provide maintenance without seriously and adversely impacting NCEP's mission. Allowing Cisco to continue to provide maintenance avoids a learning curve that a new vendor would endure.
