The project includes approximately 4,100 LF of 8 diameter, vitrified clay sewer main removal and replacement in residential streets. Most of the sewer main will be replaced with either PVC or DI sewer main. Approximately 400 LF of the existing 8 diameter sewer main will be replaced with 10 diameter DIP. Some of the proposed sewer mains will be relocated to a deeper depth than the existing sewer mains. The work also includes manhole rehabiliation, manhole replacement, manhole invert removal and reconstruction, interference manhole construction, new manhole construction, sewer service transfers, relocation of 1 and 6 water mains, and restoration of the project area. Section 3 Covered Contract: This project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968. This contract opportunity is a Section 3 Covered Contract. Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. Section 3 documents are required prior to Notice of Award.
