This RFP is open to all interested parties. The Calgary Event Centre Project is seeking a furniture vendor to provide a comprehensive scope of services including the complete design, specification, procurement, delivery, assembly and installation of loose furniture throughout the building. The Prime Design Consultant for the project has issued a Furniture Design Package that establishes the overall design intent and functional requirements for the furniture scope. The package includes furniture plans, legends, schedules, details and renderings. While the design intent and performance expectations are defined, manufacturer make and model numbers have not been provided for all items and shall be recommended and selected as part of this process. Furniture should be suitable for a professional sports and entertainment venue, with an emphasis on durability, functionality, aesthetics, accessibility and performance. Following award of this RFP, the Proponent will lead the process for the final selection of furniture items in alignment with the approved design intent and project budget.
