The City of Leduc is seeking bids for the 2026 Lanes, Overlays, & Trails project, which involves extensive site preparation and management, including implementing traffic control measures for both pedestrians and vehicles. The work includes saw cutting, removal, and disposal of existing hard and soft surfacing materials, grading for grass swales, fine grading and subgrade preparation, and placing concrete elements such as curbs, gutters, monolithic walks, curb ramps, swales, and residential driveways. Additionally, the project encompasses road and multiway structure placement involving geo-grid, geo-fabric, gravel base courses, and asphalt pavement, as well as milling and overlaying existing roadways. Further components of the contract involve adjusting manholes, catch basins, and valves to align with surface elevations, realigning ditches through grading and reshaping, and supplying and installing solar pedestrian flashers. Inlaid thermoplastic lane markings will be applied, and disturbed areas will receive topsoil and seed or sod. The installation of landscaped beds with various plantings is also included.
