LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT / INVITATION TO BID CITY OF OAKLAND PARK CENTENNIAL PARK (DEMOLITION PHASE) 3801 NE 5TH AVE, OAKLAND PARK, FL 33334 STATE CONTRACTING & ENGINEERING CORP. (SCEC) is the awarded CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK (CMAR) for this project, SEEKING SEALED BIDS from PRE-QUALIFIED BIDDERS ONLY on behalf of the City of Oakland Park for a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not limited to: Demolition of the existing Public Works Building and Fleet Building (Southeast corner of property) Associated site clearance and utility disconnections (Southeast corner of property) Removal of the existing fuel island, underground storage tanks, remediation equipment, and monitoring wells (Southeast corner of property) For a pre-qualification package, please email Adrian Viera, Pre-Construction Manager, at aviera@statecontracting.com . NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING : September 17, 2026, at 9:00 AM (EST) Meet at the southeast corner of the property REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION (RFI) will be received via email at aviera@statecontracting.com , with the subject line: RFI – City of Oakland Park Centennial Park at City Park Demo until: September 21, 2026, by 2:00 PM (EST) SEALED BIDS MUST be received by: October 2, 2026, by 2:00 PM (EST) at SCEC offices, located at 5391 N Nob Hill Road, Sunrise, FL 33351. Sealed bids/envelopes shall be labeled appropriately with the project name, bid package, and date. BIDDER NOTES: DO NOT CONTACT CITY OF OAKLAND PARK . ALL CORRESPONDENCE MUST BE THROUGH SCEC . SCEC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality or irregularities in the bids and re-advertise bids for any reason. All costs incurred by bidders in preparing a proposal shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder.
