The City of Waco is seeking vendors to construct a Transfer Station Facility that will serve as a central location for the collection and transfer of solid waste. The facility will include a transfer building, pavement, drainage structures, water and sewer utilities, and scales and scalehouse. The contractor will also provide alternate bid items for the construction of a 10-inch thick reinforced concrete pavement in lieu of the asphalt pavement specified in the base bid. The alternate bid items will include the cost difference and the schedule impact of using the reinforced concrete pavement.
