Solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-30WB is a request for quotations issued by the DLA Aviation ASC Commodities Division for the procurement of 38 hub tie clamps (NSN 2840-00-137-3682). The contract requires delivery to DLA Distribution San Diego by January 22, 2028, with a first article delivery due within 90 calendar days of the contract award. General Electric Co is listed as an acceptable source, and the government notes that no approved technical data package is currently available as the data is proprietary. Due to the nature of the item, casting or forging may be required, and contractors are advised to seek assistance through DLA's casting and forging request channels if necessary. The contract mandates strict quality and compliance standards, including adherence to SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001 and a zero-nonconformance acceptance policy for sample lots. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the origin. Key technical requirements include the prohibition of intentionally added mercury, compliance with MIL-STD-129 and MIL-STD-130 for marking, and the use of Wide Area WorkFlow for invoicing. Additionally, the contractor must comply with the Buy American Act, the Berry Amendment, and DFARS 252.204-7012 regarding the safeguarding of covered defense information. All quotes must be submitted via the DIBBS system.
