The Embassy of Canada in Amman is soliciting proposals for cleaning and general labour services for its premises:
The Chancery (CH) is located at 133 Zahran Street in Amman, Jordan. It is a building of 3765 square meters (m2) that houses some public restricted areas, office spaces, boardrooms, washrooms, outdoor parking area, showers, a training facility and 3 small buildings.
The Official Residence (OR) is located at 26 Princess Alia, Sweifieh in Amman, Jordan. The OR has approximately 551 square meters (m2) of living space such as bedrooms, living and dining rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and a garden that serve as the Canadian Ambassador’s residence. Work at the OR will consist of window washing and outdoor space on a bi-weekly basis, with occasional labour work as needed.
There are currently 37 Staff Quarters (SQ) that are used as temporary housing for mission staff and they are all located within a 10-kilometer radius of the Embassy. The requirement will consist of deep cleaning on turnover also called employees relocation season for about 10-15 units annually, mostly during the summer months.
The objective is to provide cleaning and general labour for the Embassy of Canada’s installations in Amman as per industry standards, thus maintaining cleanliness and providing good working conditions for the occupants of those buildings.
The Contractor must provide cleaning services to the Amman mission including all resources and supervision.
