Full Description

Jim Brown Creek Culvert Replacement: Road 100, M.P. 40.5: The project consists of removing two existing 30" culverts and installing a 14' x 5'-7" x 60' Structural Plate Arch. The Structural Plate Arch will allow Aquatic Organism passage and accommodate 100 year flood flows. Work includes culvert removal, construction and installation of new structure, placing riprap, building grade control structures in the channel, rebuilding the road prism in the same location, replacement of surface aggregate, along with all other work necessary to complete the project as required by the contract, plans, and specifications. The Project is referred to as Jim Brown M.P. 40.5, but due to changes in mileage measurement, it is located at approximately mile post 36.5 on Jim Brown Creek Road, USFS Road 100. From Weippe, Idaho take the Musselshell Road east to the intersection of Jim Brown Creek Road, approximately 7 miles. Turn left (north) onto Jim Brown Creek Road. The project is located approximately 4.0 miles north of the USFS Road 100/Musselshell road intersection. Instream work cannot begin until after July 15, 2011. All work must be complete by 30 November 2011. Price Range: $100,000 - $250,000.
