Addendum No. 4 Issued October 23, 2025:   Addendum No. 4 is being issued to remind, clarify, and change three proposal conditions.   1. Question & Answer Period. As a reminder, the formal question and answer period closed on October 15, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. Central Time. No further individual questions will be answered. The University reserves the right to seek clarification from Responders following the response submission, per the Supplier Process and Information RFP document. (See University of Minnesota Sourcing Process and Information for Suppliers found in the Attachments Tab in MBID).   2. Additional Information/ Clarification: Per questions that were asked during the question and answer period about the plywood and the Class A fire rating, the University would like to clarify: "The University requires Class A fire-rated Baltic Birch Plywood for the wall panels."   3. Addendum No. 2 was issued on October 15, 2025 to announce that a non-mandatory site visit will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Central Time. (See updated MBID Attribute No. 20.)   The site visit will take place at the University of Minnesota, Recreation and Wellness Center located at: 123 SE Harvard St, Minneapolis, MN 55455. Recreation and Wellness Center Website is here: https://recwell.umn.edu/   Respondents will meet at the University Recreation and Wellness Center entrance located at 123 SE Harvard St. University staff, Mitch Hoffman, will meet all Respondents/attendees and bring them to the Project site (e.g. the existing climbing wall and other spaces and areas the awarded Contractor may need to access). MBID Attribute 12. Project: Recreation and Wellness Center Turnstile Replacement Project, has been changed to Project: Climbing Wall for the Minneapolis Recreation and Wellness Center. The attribute now reads, “The selected Respondent shall design, construct, deliver, and install a new climbing wall at the University Recreation and Wellness Center in Minneapolis in accordance with the final mutually agreed upon Project Schedule and Work Plan.”

Presentation (PowerPoint slides) from the Non-Mandatory Pre-Proposal Meeting Presentation 10.13.2025   ************************************************************************************************************* This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the University of Minnesota Purchasing Services for the Office for Student Affairs at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities Campus. University Recreation & Wellness (RecWell) is a division within the Office for Student Affairs at the University of Minnesota.     The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to contract with a qualified Responder to design, construct, deliver, and install a new climbing wall which may also include a new climbing flooring system.     Respondents are prohibited from contacting the identified department about this RFP while in process.   Before submitting questions about the RFP via the Questions Tab, read and review the Supplier Process and Information Attachment and ALL Attributes in the Attributes Tab, especially Background and Project Summary/Scope of Work. These provide valuable information and address frequently asked questions.   Remember to submit your response, including attachments, early to allow time to correct errors. The submission deadline is a hard close. The system will reject responses with errors and will NOT allow late submissions.
